Home learning 17th Feb

Hello everyone,

So sorry that we will miss our last day of term together. Here is some home learning that you can do today.

Maths - Continue looking at triangles.

Task 1: Here is the picture that we looked at today. Have another look. How many triangles can you see?

Task 2: Draw your own triangle like this, using a ruler. How many triangles can you spot in your picture?
Task 3: Go triangle hunting! How many triangles can you find in your house?

English:
Have a go at writing your own explanation text. What could you explain?
How a dishwasher works? How a computer works? You could make up a silly version, like we have been learning in class. Or you could find out how something actually works.

Reading -

Log on to Bug club. Read a book and answer the questions. You also have your lovely library books to read.

P.E - Joe Wicks workout. Make sure you get those knees high!!!!

Making helmets for eggs

In our Science lessons we have been thinking about our bodies and how to protect them. We have designed a helmet for an egg. We have thought about the best way to protect it from breaking and what materials might be best for this. Only one group managed not to break their egg at all!

Christmas Play

Well done, Year 2 for an absolutely fabulous Christmas play! The singing, acting and dancing was incredible and you all worked so hard. I am very proud.
